February 14, 2013

Good thing my new year’s resolution wasn’t to produce more blog posts! I would’ve failed miserably. Lots of revision on the cards from here on in though and I intend to use this blog and my Twitter as much as possible to help out with that.
Starting today with a video that should give you A-level chemists a few hints on how to determine shapes of molecules:

The star of the video is an American scientist and teacher called Tyler Dewitt. He’s got lots more great videos on various topics on his Youtube channel.

The Royal Society of Chemistry’s Learning Site – Is packed full of useful resources for Chemistry students of all ages

Also – on the topic of the RSC: There’s a public lecture on the chemistry of drug discovery at the Duke of York’s School in Dover tonight. I’ll see you there!

So we’re finally here – the end of the year! Thanks and well done to all those who’ve worked hard (you know who you are) and best wishes to all of you who’re moving on or waiting for results!

To end the year on a high note – Click on the huge camera for Ed and Matt’s excellent presentation on the history of photography that they made in the very limited time that they had yesterday…
