Friday – A challenge and a Challenger

February 3, 2012

There’s a competition running here at school: a chance to be creative with an exciting prize!

Ask me for more details!

Something else that’s equally as exciting is that we’re due to renew our link with former NASA astronaut Bill Readdy who is a director of the Challenger Centre for Space Science Education:

"25 years of inspiring kids!"

We’ll be linking up with Bill as part of our celebrations for National Science and Engineering Week in March. It’ll be fascinating to hear what he has to say about his work!

Wednesday – We’re very excited about finally meeting…

March 16, 2011

Mr William F Readdy – Former NASA astronaut with over 600 hours experience actually in space and a huge amount of experience with the space shuttle and who was US Navy test pilot before joining NASA and who now works with Richard Branson on Virgin Galactic amongst other very interesting projects… The list goes on!

He will be joining us tonight at 5.10pm for a live internet link-up as part of our Science and Engineering week activities and we’re really lucky to be able to talk to such an interesting and important man!
